Soft and silky hair oil

The Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil is my favorite oil for daily use, especially on days my hair is feeling dry or stiff between shampoos.

As I’ve mentioned in previous oil reviews, one of the best things you can do for your hair oils is to your ends every day. Whether your hair is up or down, it’s rubbing against your back or on hair ties or clips, add daily brushing, etc. This helps protect your hair from unavoidable daily wear.

Why I love it

I love how soft the Gisou oil helps my hair when it’s feeling dry or frizzy. The oil leaves my hair silky and seals the cuticle, which reflects light and makes my hair shine. I love the smell. It’s not too sweet and subtle.

How I use it

I only use it post-styling because I use my heat protectors pre-styling. A little goes a long way! I rotate this as my daily oil between the Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair! Oil. I apply the oil on my fingertips from the nape down, avoiding the scalp. It’s light enough to not weigh down your hair, but I would still use the Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair! If you curl your hair and want your hairstyle to stay longer. Always remember, to prevent product buildup from daily hair product use— detox your hair and hair brushes biweekly.

Tell me more

You may like this hair oil over the lighter Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair! one I’ve listed if you have normal to high porosity hair.
