Worth every penny

I use the Kerastase 8hr Magic Night Serum sparingly to make it last. I also believe less is more for your hair. Too much product weighs your hair down. I used it for a couple of months and realized how much I loved it. The serum makes a difference in how my hair feels in the morning. I’m a harsh critic and believe you don’t need to spend a fortune to achieve your hair goals. I’m testing a potential dupe L’Oreal Paris EverPure Simply Clean Midnight Serum Hair Treatment. Stay tuned for this review. Important to note L’Oreal owns Kerastase. 🙂

Kerastase 8hr Magic Night Serum

How I use it

I only used 1-1.5 pumps at night, and I have classic-length hair. I wash my hair twice weekly and only use it the first two days post-wash day. Otherwise, I feel like I have too much hair product. I apply the serum on my fingertips and spread it evenly, only on my length. After applying it to my hair, I let it sit for a couple of seconds before I brush it. See this post with details and a video of how I apply it.

Tell me more

The serum has a soft scent that isn’t too strong. I’ve used other hair products that I could not handle the strong smell, even though I liked how they felt. The Ouia Leave In Conditioner and the Mielle White Peony Leave In are hair products I returned for their fragrance. I’ve I like the scent of Kerastase 8hr Magic Night Serum. I’ve heard feedback on Instagram that the smell was musky.

The night serum feels silky on my fingertips once it dries, it’s lightweight. The bottle is glass and semi-translucent. It looks pretty. I mean, for $58, I do appreciate the packaging.

My normal porosity wavy hair loves it. If you have blonde bleached hair, you NEED to try this Kerastase night serum.

  1. I do enjoy the way you have framed this situation plus it does provide me a lot of fodder for thought. However, because of what I have witnessed, I really trust as the responses stack on that people today remain on issue and don’t start on a soap box involving some other news du jour. Yet, thank you for this outstanding piece and although I can not necessarily agree with the idea in totality, I regard the perspective.

  2. Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I had to share it with someone!

  3. Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.

  5. With almost everything that appears to be developing within this subject material, many of your perspectives tend to be fairly exciting. Even so, I beg your pardon, but I do not give credence to your whole plan, all be it refreshing none the less. It looks to everybody that your remarks are actually not totally rationalized and in simple fact you are generally yourself not thoroughly certain of your argument. In any case I did take pleasure in reading through it.
