My Hair Journey
I’ve had long hair since I was 19, I’m now in my 30’s with the hair of my dreams. It has been a fun journey learning how to take better care of my long hair. I didn’t start a hair care routine until maybe a year ago. My long hair was nice but it could have used a routine hair detox and better shampoo.
I have normal porosity hair and wanted to try the L’Oréal Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water even though I don’t consider my hair damaged. I have thick, wavy hair, and use heat twice per week. This lamellar water is amazing for shiny hair and to help the appearance of damaged tresses. RedKen also has a lamellar water for extreme bleach damage for more than double the cost. L’Oréal Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water is a winner for price and shiny hair results.
What I love
It is super easy to use and fast. There’s no wait time like when you use a hair mask. I don’t use a hair mask after the L’Oréal Wonder Water.
How To Use
Step 1
Shampoo hair and apply 20 ml or 40ml depending on your length and thickness. I got away with 30 ml with classic length hair. One $10 will give me 3-4 uses!
Step 2
Apply L’Oréal Wonder Water to your ends only. About shoulder length down. Apply on wet hair.
Step 3
Wait 8 seconds and rinse your hair well. No need to use conditioner after. I recommend trying it without conditioner first. Sometimes too much product weighs down your hair and makes it stringy.
