We visited Sun Deck on a surprise lunch date Friday. My husband was trying to make up for the previous weekend when he told me to get dressed and said we’re going somewhere. We ended up at our local Target. Not funny but sort of funny.
We arrived around 1pm and it was somewhat busy. It’s open seating so we walked around trying to find a table with a front view. You’re literally a few yards from the sand. There are different table settings. Some have lounge like couch seating with fire pits and others are regular tables. Well, all of the front tables were taken and we ended up by the center. I kind of preferred that view after we sat. I don’t believe you can miss out on a view from anywhere there.
We had a friendly waiter come to us shortly after we sat. The food and drinks were delicious. My husband and I shared the Del Cheeseburger and a chicken flatbread. The burger is like a baby by In N Out and Hodads. The flatbread was full of flavor as well. Sometimes you get a great view and mediocre food. Not here!
